Somewhere in Italy
This book presents visual notes on Italy’s 20 regions. It’s a journey through the timeless beauty and landscapes that define this boot-shaped country, filled with insights, encounters, and captivating stories. You’ll also find tempting tips on hidden trattorias in charming villages and breathtaking scenic routes—all for you to treasure.
Authors Emma Varila and Toni Räisälä embarked on a year-long adventure with their dog, Lilla, to experience Italy in all its fascination, aesthetics, and chaos. You’ll discover where to find the best focaccia, the charm of a delightful, community-driven sagra, and some of the country’s most undiscovered regional gems. Dive into an unforgettable journey and be inspired by the changing seasons, Italy’s unique aesthetics, and its irresistible flavours.
