Here is a summary of the most important points from our terms and conditions. Read the full terms and conditions at the bottom of the page.


All orders will be dispatched on regular working days, monday to friday. All national orders placed before 4PM will be shipped the same day using PostDanmark. All international orders will be shipped using UPS. You can find a trackingnumber for your package in your shipping confirmation email.

You will receive an order confirmation shortly after placing your order, and a shipping confirmation as soon as the product/s are on their way. 


We accept the following credit/debit cards: Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, V PAY & PayPal. If your card is not on the list, please let us know. All information is encrypted.


You can return the product within 14 days of receiving the product, as long as the product is returned in the same condition as when received. That means unused, except for trying it on, and with the hang tag still attached and all packaging intact.


When returning an item by post, please fill out the return form included in your package. Shipping costs will not be refunded. This applies to the original shipping cost for your order as well as the return-shipping cost. In the case of an exchange, we will cover the cost of the shipping for the new item to you.

Refunds of returned products will be made as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days after we receive the product.

Adélie webshop have the ambition that the website is always up and running, however Adélie webshop cannot guarantee this.

Adélie webshop cannot guarantee that all the products shown are available at the time you place your order. 

In the event the product you order is no longer available, you will be contacted by e-mail shortly after placing your order.

Due to the color settings of your computer, the colors of the products shown in the pictures in the Adélie webshop can differ from their actual colors.

To help you decide what size to choose we have created a measurement guide to most of the products for sale on-line. All measurements are approximate and slight variance may occur. Please have this average sizing in mind and note that +/- 1cm on each mesurement may occur. Especially denim can vary more from one product to another as the washing hereof is difficult to control. 


The price of each product is stated excluding shipping costs but inclusive of the Danish rate of VAT (25%) and all import taxes within the EU.

Buy tax free from outside of the EU

We offer tax free purchases on orders from Non-EU countries. VAT (25% of total price) will be removed automatically in the checkout process when the shipping country is selected.


Local taxes

Please note that local charges (customs duty, sales tax) can occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at your own expense.

Price changes

Adélie webshop reserves the right to change prices of the products sold. The prices of the products will, during the time of placing an order, be valid throughout that specific process.

Order confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail shortly after placing your order.

Shipping confirmation

Your order will be dispatched within 8 days from the time you placed your order. As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. For buyers outside Denmark the shipping confirmation will include carrier and tracking number information. For buyers in Denmark the shipping information will include carrier information.

Shipping and collecting packages

All orders will be shipped with Post Danmark (in Denmark) or UPS (all other countries). With the help of your tracking number information you can track your package at the UPS website ( The package will be delivered to the address you have stated as your delivery address. Since UPS couriers require your signature when delivering the goods, you will have to be present at specified shipping address at the time of the delivery. During the registration of your Adélie webshop account you will be required to register your personal address information. If you wish us to ship your package to an alternative address please state that address in the checkout process at the Adélie webshop. Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.

Delivery time

Adélie webshop aims to dispatch goods as quickly as possible and customers should expect to receive their goods within two weeks (14 days) of receiving an order confirmation.

Danish orders will be delivered within 1-3 days from the day you received the shipping confirmation.

International orders will be delivered within 2-8 days from day you received the shipping confirmation.


Adélie webshop cannot be held responsible for any currency changes or currency exchange rates any bank may have when exchanging the EUR into any other currency.

Exchanges, returns and refunds

The customer reserves the right to return the goods within two weeks (14 days) of receiving the goods on condition of the following: The goods are returned in the same condition and quantity as when received. The goods are unused other than for the pupose of trying on for fit. The hangtag is still attached. If there is evidence to suggest that the goods have been used to a degree such as to decrease the value of the product, the customer loses his/her right to exercise a return. For some goods, the original packaging may constitute part of the value of the good, such as a shoe box for a pair of shoes and hence the same rules apply to this.


We do not accept returns on Lingerie or Cosmetics. This is our company policy for hygiene and safety reasons. 

Returned goods are checked and if the above conditions are fulfilled, the amount is deposited back into the customer's account.

When exercising your right to return an item, the shipment is paid by the customer. When returning an item, please enclose the filled out return form provided in the package. Adélie webshop will not compensate for returned packages lost in the return shipping - therefor we recommend an insured shipping method with a tracking number. Refunds for returned products will be made as soon as possible, 30 business days at the latest, after Adélie webshop receives the returned products.
